Each pleasure has a good nature, but it’s not a reason to
chose them all.
Equally each distress has a bad nature, but some are
necessary.
Ponder them based on advantages and detriments: we all have
experienced what was supposed to
be good for us turning harmful and vice versa.
The same concept should be applied to our supposed needs.
Not because we must always be
pleased with the very minimum, but to enjoy it if you don’t have more.
The less you depend on copiousness, the more you are pleased
with it.
…..Always humble,
Angiolino
