Some of us might feel happy because he’s deploying troops,
planes and tanks to fight ISIS in Syria. Apparently the right thing to do. But in
reality we must ask ourselves this question: how long before every Sunni Muslim
in the Middle East will start reacting?!
Meaning: they are the vast majority in Syria and the Arab
world, Putin will be seen as going there to protect Assad (a Shiite war
criminal). Putin will alienate the entire Sunni Muslim world. He went into
Syria without thinking too much, as usual, just to show that Russia is still a
world power (think about Ukraine), but he just went into a trap from which he
won’t come out easily.
